Article 4 of the AI Act places a fiduciary duty on all providers and deployers of AI systems in the market to ensure their internal staff and employees are adequately trained to deal with the operational use of these models, systems, and technologies.

To that end, the entity must take proactive measures to ensure its employees and staff have the requisite level of technical knowledge, experience, education, and training related to the AI models, systems, and technologies that are to be placed on the market. Moreover, the technical knowledge, experience, education, and training must be relevant to the context in which these models, systems, and technologies are most likely to be used.
