What is OAuth 2.0?

OAuth 2.0 refers to an industry-standard authorization protocol used for securing and controlling access to web-based and mobile applications. It enables users to grant limited access to their resources or data to third-party applications without sharing their login credentials. OAuth 2.0 is widely used for scenarios such as social media logins, secure API access, and single sign-on (SSO) solutions. It provides a framework for issuing access tokens that allow applications to access protected resources on behalf of the user, while maintaining security and privacy.
