Serverless Computing

Serverless computing, often referred to as Function as a Service (FaaS), refers to a cloud computing paradigm in which cloud providers manage the underlying infrastructure, allowing developers to focus solely on writing and deploying code in the form of functions or microservices. In a serverless computing environment, developers define functions that are triggered by specific events or requests. When a trigger occurs (e.g., an HTTP request), the cloud provider automatically provisions the necessary resources to execute the function and scales them up or down as needed. This model is highly scalable, cost-efficient, and well-suited for event-driven and microservices-based applications. It eliminates the need for developers to manage servers or infrastructure directly.
