Article 19: Automatically Generated Logs | EU AI Act

Article 19 of the AI Act provides information on how organizations must maintain the automatically generated logs.

Providers of high-risk AI systems must maintain automatically generated logs by such systems to the extent that the logs are within their control. These logs must be maintained for at least six months, or longer if required under applicable Union or national law.

Similarly, if the provider is a financial institution subject to internal governance, arrangements, or process requirements under Union financial services laws, it must maintain automatically generated logs as part of its documentation requirements under the relevant financial services laws.
