IDC Names Securiti a Worldwide Leader in Data PrivacyView
This ebook is created for covered businesses, data privacy teams, and legal teams to help resolve their concerns and confusion around California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) compliance. Learn more about:
CPRA is similar to its predecessor, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as it amends and improves CCPA. However, there are myriads of obligations where the CPRA differs from the CCPA. The most notable obligations include the introduction of a new regulatory authority, the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA). Apart from that, CPRA further introduces additional data subject rights, extends the Do Not Sell right by including Do Not Share, removes exempts from employee data, and requires businesses to conduct privacy training, to name a few.
As the CPRA is here to stay, it is critical for businesses to assess where they stand in terms of compliance with the new and improved state regulation and how they can streamline their data privacy operations to ensure compliance.
